How?

  1. Send a physical copy of a book you want to submit with your email address written on a piece of paper by 11/29(Fri) to the address below:

  2. Orgaznizers of Desk Book Fair select ±50 number of books by looking at the physical books.
  3. →Books must include either a proposition or a persistence, the form must not precede the content, and must not seduce readers with the cuteness of cats or characters.
  4. If your book is selected, you will receive an email notification with further information, if your book is not selected, you will receive your book back by mail.(Shipping is on Desk Bookfair)
  5. The participation fee is 30,000KRW per book, and each team can participate with up to three books.
  6. There is no additional sales fee other than the participation fee.


Why?

  1. To simplify the application, promotion, operation, design processes and the participation fee
  2. To try receiving and selecting submissions of physical books rather than proposals
  3. To create publishers' community
  4. To have a long conversation on publishing with small number of people
  5. To present Birdcall and Ningen Paper Press's standards of good books
  6. To question on planning and publishing new books upon the book fair appication
  7. To share experiences on other book fairs
